Whilst playing in the garden on Christmas Day,
Missi found something from Santa’s sleigh.
Just after she had started digging in the snow,
Miss Digi Bear noticed a magical glow.
Missi started barking – she had something to tell,
For Missi had found a “Jingle Bell”.
She kept digging until the bell was free,
Then carried it to the house for all to see.
The family gasped they couldn’t believe their eyes,
When they saw this amazing Christmas surprise.
Mum and Dad and Nanna too,
Were not quite sure what to do.
They had to contact Santa so they could say;
“Be careful how you fly, we have a bell from your sleigh”.
They needed to get a message to either Santa himself,
Or a magical, helpful festive elf.
The children thought they could help with this,
They pulled a Xmas cracker and made a Christmas wish!
“I know” a barking Missi said,
“Let’s try to contact the reindeer instead.”
Another surprise on this enchanted day,
Is that everyone understood what Missi had to say.
They went down the path to look for a clue,
To help them figure out just what to do!
Again the family didn’t know what to say,
At the bottom of the garden were Santa and his sleigh.
“I heard your Xmas wish about your special find,
I’ll need your help to fix it if you don’t mind”.
After they helped fix the Jingle Bell to his sleigh,
Santa had one more thing to say.
I’d like to take you for a ride as a special thank you,
So they jumped in the sleigh and off they flew.
At the end of this magical Christmas day,
They watched as the reindeer took flight with the sleigh.
As they all went to bed for a well earned sleep,
The family and Missi had wonderful memories to keep.
The enchanted day was over or so it seems,
Except they all had wonderful, magical dreams.
